Xtreme 99 cool Heat and win gold in Richmond!

It was the perfect combination of offence and defense as the Langley Xtreme 99 returned home champions.

The U16B bantam girls softball team was competing at Richmond’s London Park, where they avenged an earlier loss by cooling the Kelowna Heat 16-7 in Sunday’s championship final.

The Heat had beat the Xtreme 7-4 the day before.

In the rematch, the teams traded runs for the first two innings and were tied at five runs apiece. But the third inning was all Langley as they scored nine runs to put the game out of reach.

The Xtreme girls played 4 games back to back on Sunday and won them all on there way yo gold!

The team is made up of: Remy Brayshaw, Taylor Quechuck, Jennifer Delaney, Shaelene Locke, Terae Walters, Andria Coulbourn, Britney Ingham, Jessie Wright, Sarah Mior, Emily Morrison, Jordyn Scott, Sydney Redden and Teigan Ritchie.
