Langley XTREME ‘03 Win Silver
Langley U14B Girls Peewee Softball Rep Team – the Langley XTREME ‘03 won a Silver Medal in Kelowna over the weekend!
The Kelowna Minor Fastball Society (KMFS) – Kelowna Heat – hosted sixteen teams in their annual Girls U14B Peewee Tournament this past May 5 – 7, 2017 weekend. All Sixteen teams started the tournament competing in the Round Robin on May 5 – 6, 2017 to determine the playoff games on May 7, 2017. The Langley XTREME ’03 placed first in their division in the Round Robin standings, winning three straight games against the Richmond Islanders ’04 (9-6 Win), the Calgary Kaizen (5-4 Win) and the South Surrey White Rock (SSWR) Thunder ’03 (8-1 Win).
The playoffs on May 7th, 2017 resulted in the Langley XTREME ’03 playing their quarter-final game against Ridge Meadows Rage 03/04 with the game ending in 7-2 for the Xtreme ’03. This moved Langley XTREME ‘03 into their semi-final game in the Gold Division against the Prince George ThunderBirds ’03, resulting in a 9-3 win for Xtreme ’03, which moved them into their final game – the Gold Division playoff game for Gold.
The Finals against the Richmond Islanders ’03 was an exciting game ending in Langley XTREME ’03 proudly securing the Silver Medal with a final score of 4-3.
It was a great start to the season for the Langley XTREME ’03 U14B Girls Peewee Softball Team who is looking forward to a successful softball season!
